I’ve never played a Kirby game before in my life, but I have considered doing so. How easy or difficult are Kirby games usually, and in terms of both ease and enjoyability, which Kirby game would you most recommend? (I only have a Nintendo Switch lol)

Kirby games are usually very easy platformers. The ‘hardest’ part about the games are often the post-game features and some of the puzzles, but more often than not it’s not harder than say, a Mario game. Kirby’s ability to float really makes things 20 times easier. I would say the hardest games in the series are in the GB / N64 era of the series given that a lot of the collectables are sort of hard to get, or require very very specific cryptic conditions to obtain.
Imho, a good place to start is Kirby Return To Dreamland Deluxe, a remake of the acclaimed Wii title. It has a ton of fun side content, cool abilities, and overall is a pretty easy game with a few harder parts with its mechanics and post game. It’s the most 'Kirby’ game on the platform atm that isn’t an old release.
I would also recommend Kirby And The Forgotten Land, which is very very different compared to most of the series given how you can basically free roam every screen. Kirby-game wise, it’s pretty much on the same difficulty level, with a spike in difficulty in say, getting all of the collectables in the post-game series of levels.
A notable side-game I like is Kirby’s Dream Buffet, it’s a funny little racing game. I’d say all of the Kirby titles properly released on the switch are solid, Kirby Return To Dreamland Deluxe is great for people getting into the series.
